Day 1, MOSCOW
Welcome to Moscow! You are greeted at the airport by your driver and accompanied to your hotel.You spend the night in hotel Cosmos (or similar). Enjoy a buffet dinner at your hotel. Dinner.
Day 2, MOSCOW
After breakfast at the hotel, you meet your guide at the reception desk for the panoramic city tourincluding visit to Novodevichy Convent, amagnificent architectural ensemble which boaststhe spectacular iconostasis at the Cathedral ofthe Virgin of Smolensk and a collection of uniqueartefacts in the convent museum. In the afternoon – free time. Breakfast.
Day 3, DEPART MOSCOW
Today after breakfast at the hotel you will embarque on a tour to the Kremlin with a visit of a Cathedral. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Moscow Kremlin boasts magnificent gold-domed cathedrals, the gigantic Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell,the Grand Kremlin Palace and many other historic buildings.Visit one of the cathedrals to admire frescoes and icons created by old masters. After the tour, transfer to railway station. Your Trans-Mongolian adventure begins with the departure for Yekaterinburg by train #70 at 13:50. Breakfast.
Day 4, YEKATERINBURG
Today, you arrive in Yekaterinburg at 19:17. You will be transferred to your hotel for a good night rest. Check in the Park Inn hotel.
Day 5, YEKATERINBURG
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet with a guide for city tour of Yekaterinburg, including such sights as Mineralogical Museum and the Obelisk “Europe-Asia Border”. Join for the fascinating tour “The Romanov Family” before boarding the evening train #70 at 21:49. Breakfast.
Day 6-7, ON THE TRAIN
The days are spent relaxing aboard the train, enjoying the unique Trans-Siberian experience.
Day 8, IRKUTSK
Welcome to Irkutsk, the starting point of Lake Baikal expeditions! Your train arrives at 11:31 am. You are greeted by the driver at the train station. Join an Irkutsk city tour before transferring to the Listvyanka settlement with stop in Taltsy village for lunch and visit to open air Ethnographic museum. Check in to your hotel “Legend of Baikal” in Listvyanka. Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 9, LAKE BAIKAL
Today you wake up on shore of the Lake Baikal! Join in on a walking tour of Listvianka before the late transfer to Irkutsk. Check in the Marriott Courtyard hotel for 1 night. Breakfast.
Day 10, DEPART IRKUTSK
Your Ulan Bator bound train #306 will depart at 08:08. Enjoy landscape scenery from the train and share stories of your adventure so far with your fellow travellers. Breakfast.
Day 11, ULAN BATOR
Today you will arrive in Mongolia. Your train will reach Ulaanbaatar at 06:50. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Terelj National Park where you will get a chance to explore the famous Turtle Rock and visit a nomadic family. After a traditional lunch, immerse yourself in the Mongolian nomad's timeless way of life with a short horse riding experience and a hiking tour. The night is spent in a yurta, nomad’s conical hut camp. Lunch.
Day 12, ULAN BATOR
Today, after breakfast, transfer back to Ulaanbaatar. Get to know the city with an informative sightseeing tour; visit the Gandan Monastery, National History Museum, Bogd Khan Winter Palace, Zaisan Hill,Sukhabaator square. Lunch today is included. Evening Folklore performance and optional dinner in the evening. The night will be spent at the 4*hotel “Bayangol”. Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 13, ULAN BATOR
Free day Enjoy a free day in Ulan Bator before travelling to China. Breakfast.
Day 14, DEPARTING ULAN BATOR
Enjoy sunrise this morning as you wake up early for breakfast. In the morning, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train #4 to Beijing. The train departs at 07:30. Breakfast.
Day 15, BEIJING
After crossing many time zones and fascinating landscapes, you finally arrive in Beijing at 12:13! Transfer to 4* Beijing Novotel Xin Qiao to unpack and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 16, BEIJING
Your Trans Mongolian adventure comes to an end as you are transferred to the airport for your flight home or extend your journey to explore China further! Breakfast.
