Tbilisi
Tbilisi

The Georgian capital Tbilisi, founded in the 5th century AD, is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-religious city on the crossroads of history, a city neither European nor Asian but a fascinating blend of both East and West. Enjoy its remarkable history, culture, dynamic vibe, hot springs, charming cobbled streets and caravanserais.

Kvareli
Kvareli

Kvareli, located 130km from Tbilisi, is a charming small city offering breathtaking views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Its highlights are gorgeous Gremi and Nekresi churches, a spectacular Khareba winery and 2 refreshing artificial lakes.

Sighnaghi
Sighnaghi

Sighnaghi is a small town in the east of Georgia situated on the mountainside in the historical region of Kakheti founded in the 17th century during the reign of King Heraclius II of Georgia. Built 790 meters above the sea level, it overlooks the most beautiful landscape of Alazani Valley and Caucasus Mountains.

Bodbe Monastery
Bodbe Monastery

At present the monastery functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there. Down the hill from the monastery lies the Spring of Saint Nino, where pilgrims plunge themselves three times into the frigid water, the spring is believed to have curative powers and absolves one of sins.

Wine tasting
Wine tasting

Georgia is known for its delicious wine. More than that, it is one of the oldest wine-making regions in the world! We will visit the ‘Khareba’ winery. Its remarkable wine cellar is situated in the tunnel carved out of the rock, which was originally used for military needs. Enjoy the best of Georgian wines here, while admiring the views of the beautiful vineyards and the Caucasus Mountains.

GORI AND STALIN MUSEUM
GORI AND STALIN MUSEUM

Located in eastern Georgia, this city is mainly known as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin.  It has a museum dedicated to his life and times. Closed in 1989 due to the independence movement of Georgia and controversies of the Stalin rule, it has been reopened and attracts many tourists and history enthusiasts every day. Near Gori you will also find a stunning ancient rock-hewn town of Uplistsikhe.

Mtskheta
Mtskheta

Mtskheta is an ancient town of extraordinary importance to the Georgian nation. It was the capital of the eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD and the site of Georgia's adoption of Christianity in 334. It remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

Uplistsikhe
Uplistsikhe

The famous cave city of Uplistsikhe dates from the 6th century BC and is first mentioned in the chronicles of the 1st century AD. Carved into rocky plateau there are huge echoing halls, meandering corridor-streets, chambers for pagan worship and even the remains of Georgia’s oldest theatre, complete with auditorium, stage and orchestra pit. Like the other cave-towns of Georgia, it is rooted in the prehistoric traditions of the peoples of the Near East. On one side the fortress was protected by the Mtkvari and an almost vertical rock face, on the other, by powerful fortifications. Its strategic position on the approaches to Gori and, in particular, its strong defences made it possible to control the surrounding terrain. There were numerous attempts to destroy Uplistsikhe. Only in the 13th century, however, did the hordes of Genghis Khan’s son Khulagu succeed in doing so, after capturing and destroying many fortresses in Transcaucasia with the help of siege machines. The 5,000 inhabitants of Uplistsikhe perished and life ended forever in the fortress.
