Taste of Russia Tour is a great opportunity to see three Russia’s capitals during one journey: Moscow – modern-day capital, where 458 years old St Basil's Cathedral sits next to gleaming skyscrapers; Veliky Novgorod – the capital of ancient Russia and the largest Europe’s city in 14th century; St Petersburg – “cultural capital of Russia”, thanks to incredible architecture and rich history.

Day 1, Arrival to Moscow
Your Russian adventure has begun! On arrival transfer from the airport to the Holiday Inn Lesnaya Hotel (or similar).
Day 2, Moscow
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you outside of the hotel for out –of-city excursion to Gorki Leninskie. In Lenin’s later years, he and his family spent time at the 1830s Murozov manor house, set on lovely wooded grounds, 32km southeast of the capital. Designed by Fyodor Shekhtel, it now houses a Lenin museum, where you can see a re-creation of Lenin’s Kremlin office, as well as his vintage Rolls-Royce – one of only 15 such automobiles in the world. In the afternoon enjoy your three-hour city sightseeing tour with photo stops (no entrances), viewing the famous landmarks and places to which you may return at your leisure. The tour sights include Red Square, the Kremlin, Sparrow Hills, Bolshoi Theatre, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Victory Park, Novodevichy Convent, and the famous Moscow streets. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 3, Moscow
Following breakfast, transfer to the world famous Moscow Kremlin and fascinating Armoury Museum. In the afternoon embark on the tour of the Moscow Metro, where each stations is full of history and amazing beauty. Later today you will find yourself exploring the colourful Arbat district where you can enjoy street art, market stalls and various eateries. A great place to try Russian cuisine! At 20:00 transfer to railway station for departure to V.Novgorod by night train. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 4, Veliky Novgorod
Arrival in Veliky Novgorod (officially referred to as “Novgorod the Great”) at 06:05, transfer to the hotel for some rest. After breakfast meet with your guide for city sightseeing tour, with a visit to St Sofia Cathedral – the mother church of the Novgorodian Eparchy. After lunch at the local restaurant we carry on to explore beautiful V.Novgorod. Yuriev Monastery – the oldest monastery in Russia and Wooden Architecture Museum – open air museum with wooden houses, churches, a wind mills dated back to 17-19 centuries, another must visit places we can’t miss. Later in the evening transfer by car to St Petersburg. Arrival at St Petersburg at 21:00, check it at the hotel. Overnight stay. Meals included: breakfast, lunch.
Day 5, St Petersburg
After breakfast meet your guide at the hotel reception and get your bearings on a morning city tour to explore the best of Russia’s former capital. Your city tour will include a ride along Nevsky Prospect lined with marble palaces of Russian royalty and aristocracy, with most fashionable boutiques and art salons arranged in old settings of the 18th century; the Admiralty; the Monastery of Alexander Nevsky (one of four Russia’s Lavras with its magnificent Trinity Cathedral and its cemetery where Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky and other world celebrities were buried); St. Isaac Cathedral with «The Bronze Horseman» unveiled in Senate Square; the Resurrection Cathedral on the Spilt Blood, one of the most unusual monuments of Russian Orthodox architecture built on the spot where Alexander II was assassinated and many more. Explore onward to the Peter and Paul Fortress and uncover its intriguing history. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 6, St Petersburg
This morning we are going to World famous – Hermitage. Its priceless collection occupies 5 historical buildings of which the Winter Palace – the former residence of the Russian Royal family – is the most remarkable. Its rooms, decorated with marble and gold provide a fine background for the treasures of the Hermitage. The rest of the day enjoy a free time in remarkable city. The collection of this unique museum contains over 3 million exhibits including the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael and other famous artists; however the collections of the Egyptian, Oriental and Ancient Greek art should not be missed as well. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 7, St Petersburg
We will spend a day in Pushkin (24 km south of St Petersburg) and visit Tsarskoy Selo complex, which was once home to the Romanov imperial family. The world famous Amber room is also located here, in Catherine Palace. The original room was destroyed during Second World War, but later was meticulously renovated to its former glory. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 8, St Petersburg
Breafast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight home.
